About the Treatments that Created this Whiter Gap Free, Longer Teeth Smile
Because the patient wanted a whiter smile as well as bigger teeth, the process involved starting with teeth whitening to ensure that the lower and back teeth where a colour that the patient was happy with. Then porcelain veneers were colour matched to the patients whiter clean teeth.

A 35 year old female patient came to Dental Care Professionals to find out if anything could be done to give her a celebrity-style bigger, whiter smile. She was self-conscious of her small teeth and their colour.
Eight porcelain veneers in a whiter colour were placed on the upper teeth to increase the size of each tooth and give her a brighter smile that is more even.
Teeth Whitening
The patient went through the initial evaluation for suitability for teeth whitening and was able to have either in-clinic whitening conducted by a dentist, or do the whitening at home with correctly fitting whitening treatment trays.
The patient decided to have the “at home option” so that she could get to the level of whiteness she wanted, on her own.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers were chosen for their shine and to give the patient an easy to maintain youthful glossy smile.
Porcelain veneers need some preparation of each tooth before they can be fitted; with each veneer being custom made to fit each of your teeth exactly. This is a non-reversible procedure so the patient was very involved in the entire treatment process to ensure she was well informed and got the result that she wanted.
